"I had a serious charge, that was probably going to send me to prison. The first attorney that I had seemed afraid of the D.A, the police and the judge. Mr. Jones took over my case and everyone took him seriously and the whole game changed. I was able to get home to my family in time for Christmas."
"I fully endorse Mr. A.C. Jones for his patience and ability to keep my family fully informed as to what was going on in our family member's case all the way through trial. Other lawyers either don't know how to talk to their clients ad their families, or just don't care to. That's the thing we like about A.C. Jones, he actually cares."
"Our adult son was facing serious charges, but we knew that he had some significant mental health issues that nobody seemed to care about. When A.C. came onto the case, he promised us that he would treat our son as if he were his own son, That's just what he did. While he had to take responsibility for damages he caused, we were finally able to ge the help for his that we needed thanks to Mr. A.C. Jones. We highly recommend him."
"I'm writing this letter of recommendation for A.C. Jones, from here in prison at CDCR Chino. I knew I was going to have to do some time, but my first attorney wanted me to take a plea offer from the D.A. for 12 years, I think because he was scared to go to trial. When Mr. Jones took my case, we told the D.A. "no" to his plea offer and went to trial, knowing we'd get convicted. Maybe its because we got the same first name, but things got better. We beat most of the charges and only got 4 years, because A.C. is a trial Monster. "
Charged with a Home Invasion Robbery, Kidnapping and Forcible Rape, client was facing a Life Sentence. Client insisted that he was being set up after a failed 'black mail' attempt from a prostitute that she met and her pimp/boyfriend. The D.A. declined to investigate our client's allegations and insisted that he plea to a 25 year sentence. We launched our investigation and went to trial. Our client and investigator testified and the jury found him to be "not guilty" of all charges.
Client was charged with the illegal growing, transportation and sales of Marijuana (pre legalization). The D.A. made an offer of 3 years in prison. Client was a divorced father of two, and a USMC veteran with PTSD, that insisted that he grew the marijuana for his own personal use and for a couple of his fellow vets. He decided to take his case to a jury trial and was fully acquitted.
Our client was charged with participation in a gang-related homicide. Although he was present at the location, he had no idea that anything criminal was going to take place. The D.A. did not make any type of reasonable offer and the case went to trial. The client was found "not guilty" of the homicide charge, the gang charge and found to be guilty only of a lesser misdemeanor. He was released from jail that night.
